Foundum Team on Christmas Holidays

Friday, January 11th, 2013

The christmas holiday season is over and the Foundum Team is back for a fresh start into the new year.. Despite being a hard working and dedicated team of the global Internet start-up scene, we took some holidays as well. Since our multinational team was spread across various parts around the globe like Spain, France, Czech Republic, Germany & the US we wanted to share some country insights with you.

Scott, Foundum’s bizdev guy, and his wife Karianne made the long haul back to the US to spend some time with familiy and friends in Seattle, Washington for Christmas and then down to Scottsdale, Arizona for some R&R. On New Years Eve, the couple traveled north to Sedona, AZ, famous for its picturesque red rocks surroundings to take in the snow covered peaks and do some hiking. While it was great to be back the states for a while, the couple is happy to be back in BCN to start 2013 off right!

For New Year’s Eve Laurent didn’t want to miss Barcelona to have an unforgettable night out in El Born. The following days he enjoyed the pure nature around Barcelona.

Ladislav, our CTO from Czech republic, also spent his Christmas time with his family, together with his sister, husband and his parents. Christmas for him is very relaxed and family time. New Years Eve he spent with his parents, he hadn’t been with them around new year’s for many years so he wanted to celebrate together with them this year. Their year ended with big and grandiose fireworks in Ostrava.

Zdenko, our Ukulele playing programmer spent Christmas with his family and traveled around Czech Republic to meet his friends and the rest of his family.

Adam, our newest team member was also back home with his family in Ostrava. They’ve been celebrating under a nicely decorated Christmas tree as you can see.

David, our community manager has been travelling around Germany between Frankfurt, Duesseldorf & Munich to visit his family. It’s been a great time for him to catch up with his old mates and to be able to see his nephews as you can see from the picture.

Our CEO & Co-founders Daniela & Christopher and their little son Luca had a great trip to their home-town Hamburg to enjoy Christmas back in Germany with their families. Walks along the famous Christmas markets were a must, as they don’t exist in Spain. There you can drink a hot wine punch (known as Gluehwein) and loads of different sweets are being offered. Let’s face it. Christmas is also about the food ;-)

Our whole team travelled, relaxed and is now ready to tackle new tasks! We wish all entrepreneurs out there and everybody else the very best for 2013!
